5 of 5 Very sweet, no bitter aftertaste March 20, 2023
Reviewer: Nate from Detroit, Michigan
I came across this mead many years ago and fell in love with it. Then I couldn't find it for a long time, and other mead just wasn't as good. Everything else was far less sweet, had an odd taste to it, or a harsh aftertaste. Then there's the micro-brews that have many different unnecessary flavors and fruits mixed in, covering up the taste of honey.

Honeywood Mead skips all of that nonsense and produces an authentic honey flavor that most other mead brewers seem to lose in the fermentation process. Sweet, simple, and classic. Once my local wine shop started carrying it I fell in love all over again.

5 of 5 Yummy, best mead!! March 11, 2023
Reviewer: Olivia from Grand Rapids, MI
I've been on a mead kick trying a lot of kinds recently. By far #1 is the Honeywood Oregon mead which we bought at a small corner store in Marquette, MI, Cal's Party Store. It tastes like liquid honey but without the density of actual honey, being light and smooth. It is perfect. Get this mead!

5 of 5 First wine I've ever enjoyed June 5, 2022
Reviewer: DKendra from Oregon
I wasn't sure about trying this, because over the years, I've tried a lot of homemade meads at Renaissance Faires. They always tasted "off". Not bitter and musty like grape wines, but not good either. Until I found this in a liquor store, I didn't know mead was commercially produced. I still try new wines, so this came home with me. It's sweet, with its lingering warm flavor of honey. I'll keep bringing it home!

5 of 5 Best mead!!! September 26, 2021
Reviewer: Jeramie from Chicago, IL
My wife discovered this mead back in college from a variety pack that her brother bought her. Since then she has loved it and introduced it to me. We had several cases at our wedding, and always try to have it on hand. In recent years, my wife has become sensitive to alcohol and yet this mead agrees with her completely. It is best in the summer, but I enjoy it all year round. Thank you for continuing to make this mead.

Reviewer: Mary O’Brien from Woodburn
I just gave a bottle to my daughter in law for her birthday. She loved it so much,
This wine is smooth and a bit sweet, not overwhelming. Also a great desert wine.

5 of 5 Best mead by far! June 14, 2020
Reviewer: Jay from Kansas City
Our local store stocks several meads, including a few from a local meadery. I have tried them all, including imports from the land of the Dansk. Honeywood is far superior, smooth, like candy that makes you want to raid the shores of England to claim for pagan gods, just for the reward of more mead!

5 of 5 Smooth and easy to drink July 16, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Tacoma, WA United States
I can not stand the taste of wine. That being said, I bought this while I was out because I liked Honey Mead while I was at a Renaissance Faire. So I bought this one when I happened to stumble across it, and it's wonderful. It is very sweet and easy to drink it is very smooth. If you don't like wine that has a bitterness, this is a great option.
